Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin Epilogue Film Gets Midnight Screenings
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin film received midnight screenings in 16 theaters across Japan on Saturday. The film adapts Kinoko Nasu's Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin (The Garden of Sinners/recalled out summer) epilogue side story.
While supplies last, attendees of any screening receive the exclusive Shūmatsu Rokuon/the Garden of oblivion (Final Recording: The Garden of Oblivion) text story by Nasu. The film's official website revealed the book's cover art (pictured right) by character designer Takashi Takeuchi on September 18.
The film is screening alongside the "Mirai Fukuin extra chorus" short.
Nasu's other Kara no Kyoukai stories have already been adapted into anime films, and Aniplex of America released those films in North America.
