posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
A trademark for "Ressha Sentai Tokkyūger" was filed in Japan by Toei on August 30 and made public on Wednesday. The "ressha" in the title is a pun pronounced the same as "train" in Japanese, but uses the kanji characters for "blast" and "vehicle." The word "tokkyū" also means express train. Toei is the production company behind the live-action Super Sentai special effects television franchise.
Toei's current special effects television series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, premiered in February.
