Mikakunin de Shinkōkei Comedy 4-Panel Manga Gets Anime
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The November issue of Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine is announcing a television anime adaptation of Cherry Arai's Mikakunin de Shinkōkei (literally, "Unconfirmed & In-Progress") four-panel manga on Saturday.
The comedy revolves around Kobeni Yonomori, who on her 16th birthday suddenly has a young man with little presence named Hakuya Mitsumine and his younger sister Mashiro appear in front of her. It turns out that Hakuya is her fiancé, and Mashiro is her future sister-in-law. The three (and Konbeni's older sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur.
Arai (Kimi to Boku o Tsunagumono, Sansha Sanyō, Seinaru Megumi) began the manga in the magazine in 2009, and Ichijinsha published the third compiled book volume in Japan last November.
