ASCII MediaWorks Registers 'MAHOUKA.jp' Domain

ASCII Media Works registered the domain "MAHOUKA.jp" on September 5. ASCII Media Works publishes the light novels series Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei (The irregular at magic high school) by author Tsutomu Satō and illustrator Kana Ishida, after the story first debuted on Hina Project's Shōsetsuka ni Narō website with over 30 million page views. The series was the #4 bestselling light novel series last year. The 11th novel shipped in Japan last month.
The light novel series follows Tatsuya Shiba, a poor student who takes a long-term view on everything, and his little sister Miyuki, an honors student who secretly harbors feelings for Tatsuya. The story follows their turbulent daily life after enrolling into a high school for magical studies.
Tsuna Kitaumi has been drawing a manga adaptation in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine since 2011, and a spinoff manga titled Mahōka Kōkō no Yūtōsei (The Honors Student at Magic High School) by Yū Mori runs in ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine.
