PS Vita sequel to 1999 PlayStation game to debut next summer
The official website for Sony Computer Entertainment's Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke 2 video game for the PlayStation Vita began streaming an animated trailer for the game on Tuesday:
The first Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke RPG shipped in Japan for the Sony PlayStation in 1999, and revolved around a tribe with members who were all cursed with short lives. The tribe raises a new generation of youths, and the youths adventure into the world to slay the oni (ogres) that placed the curse upon their tribe. A remake of the original PlayStation game was released for the PlayStation Portable in 2011.
The sequel will debut next summer, and will be featured at the Tokyo Game Show 2013 event next week.
