posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The October issue of Shueisha's Ribon magazine included a new Rozen Maiden one-shot by manga creators Peach-Pit on Tuesday. The 16-page special edition follows Shinku and the others before Jun meets them. The one-shot is the first time Peach-Pit has appeared in Ribon magazine. The Rozen Maiden spinoff manga Rozen Maiden dolls talk by Haru Karuki was previously serialized in Ribon.
The first Rozen Maiden manga launched in Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine in 2002 before moving to Shuiesha's Weekly Young Jump in 2008. The 9th volume shipped in Japan in July.
The Rozen Maiden manga inspired two 12-episode television anime adaptations, Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden - Träumend, the two-episode prequel, Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre in 2006, and a short special, Rozen Maiden: Detective Kun-Kun. The third anime season, Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen premiered in July.
The October issue also included the new manga series Primo Prima! by Utano Yuzuki. The November issue will include a one-shot of Momoko Sakura's Chibi Maruko-chan manga.
