Ultramanland Theme Park Closes After 17 Years

After 17 years of operation, the Ultramanland theme park closed down on Sunday. The park opened in Arao City in Kumamoto Prefecture in March of 1996, but as the years went by, the number of people attending the park decreased, ultimately forcing the park to close down. On the last two days, the park opened two hours early, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. On its final day, the park held a grand closing ceremony for the fans at 7:45 p.m.
