SD Battle Spirits Manga to Begin in October

Super-deformed characters from Bandai/Sunrise franchise that began as trading card game
The November issue of Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine will launch SD Battle Spirits, a new manga series with super-deformed characters from Battle Spirits franchise, on October 4. Atsunori Takano will create the manga under the supervision of Sunrise and Bandai.
Battle Spirits originated as a trading card game from Bandai, and it has since inspired earlier manga and an anime series with several sequels. Bandai localized the trading card game for North America in 2009.
