Manga about high school girl who time travels to Warring States period launched in 2008
The October issue of Shinshokan's Wings magazine published the final chapter of Pink Aomata's Tenkaichi!! manga on Wednesday.
The manga follows an unpopular high school student named Tora Takei who ends up time traveling to Japan's Warring States period. Tora has to change history so she can return to the present, so she disguises herself as a man and gets caught up with Mori Ranmaru, a handsome guard for Oda Nobunaga. Aomata launched the manga in 2008, and Shinshokan published the fifth compiled volume in October 2012.
JManga had published the manga's first volume in English digitally before the website ended its service in May.
Aomata's Fight!! manga inspired the 1993 OVA Fight!! Spirit of the Sword, which Media Blasters released in 2001.
