Satoshi Kon Artbook Offered in Japan in December

Publisher Kadokawa Shoten will publish a collection of artwork from late director Satoshi Kon's films on December 26. It includes over 150 images from the director's works, including storyboards, paintings, and sketches.
The book will retail for 3,500 yen (about US$36).
In related news, fukkan.com is reprinting Kon's Tone - The Road to Millennium Actress, an essay book by Kon, in mid-October. Japanese television station WOWOW is holding a marathon of all of Kon's works. The marathon wraps on August 23. August 24 marks the three-year anniversary of Kon's death.
