posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
NTV and streaming site niconico opened websites for the Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono (Tesagure! Extracurricular Stuff) CG anime on Monday. The anime will center around the extracurricular activities of students.
The websites will unveil the characters, cast, and other details on Saturday. The characters' faces, promotional video, and cast commentary videos will also be unveiled at NTV's booth at Comic Market (Comiket) 84, which will run from Saturday to Monday at Tokyo Big Sight.
The Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site notes that the anime's website lists an inactive link for "MMD (MikuMikuDance) Download", indicating that the series uses the MikuMikuDance software to animate its characters. MikuMikuDance is Yū Higuchi's program that enables users to create dancing videos of Crypton Future Media's Vocaloid virtual idol character Hatsune Miku, as well as other characters.
Two other anime that used MikuMikuDance are Straight Title Robot Anime (Chokkyū Hyōdai Robot Anime) and gdgd Fairies.
Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono will premiere in October.
