posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Game developer Level 5 announced on Friday that the Danbōru Senki Wars game for the Nintendo 3DS is slated to ship in Japan on September 26. The Danbōru Senki franchise's latest "plastic-model-building role-playing game" will be available in packaged and downloadable versions for 4,980 yen (about US$50).
The official website added Hernes character profiles and LBX designs for Hernes and Jenock. The website also launched a voting campaign for fans to vote for one of three package designs. The voting period will end on July 25.
In the game, players choose one of 20 avatar characters from the virtual nation Hernes. Players battle against the Danbōru Senki Wars anime's protagonist Arata Sena, who represents the nation Jenock. The game's new features include the Multi Gimmick Sack function that allows players to switch weapons for their LBX plastic model robots in different modes.
The franchise's latest television anime series, Danbōru Senki Wars, premiered in Japan on April 3.
