I.G. Makes Anime Ad of Suspense Manga Alice in Borderland

Shogakukan began streaming an anime commercial for Haro Aso's survival suspense manga Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) on Wednesday. The story follows Alice and other youths who are trapped in a devastated world and forced to play a deadly game of survival.
Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell) animated the ad, which depicts the manga's "Oni Gokko" arc. Yoshihisa Kawahara plays Alice, while Hidenori Takahashi plays Karube.
The commercial is the latest one in Shogakuan's Sunday CM Gekijō series, and it will begin playing during the Silver Spoon anime and other television programs.
Aso has been serializing the manga in Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday S magazine, and Shogakukan published the seventh compiled book volume in May. Aso also created the Hyde & Closer manga, which Viz Media released on its own English version of the Shonen Sunday website and in print in North America.
