Blue Exorcist's A-1 Pictures Makes Original 3D Robot Anime

Masuo Ueda, the president and CEO of the anime studio A-1 Pictures, revealed during an Anime Expo panel on Saturday that his company is working on an original robot anime to supersede Gundam. The project will be 3D-animated, but Ueda did not reveal further details or its title. Ueda did show a compilation of clips from A-1 Pictures' upcoming works, including some that have not been previewed before.
The studio's current and upcoming projects include Oreimo 2, Servant × Service, Silver Spoon, the film version of anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, this October's Galilei Donna - Storia di tre sorelle a caccia di un mistero television anime, and THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e!.
