Sket Dance Manga Ends in Next Shonen Jump Issue
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
This year's 32nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will publish the end of Kenta Shinohara's Sket Dance manga on Monday. The 32nd and final volume will be published on August 2. The magazine asks readers to look forward to Shinohara's next work.
The story follows Yusuke Fujisaki and the other members of Kaimei High School's Living Assistance Club, or "Sket Brigade." The club was created to help students with problems big or small, but most of the time the members find themselves hanging out in the club room with little to do. In spite of this, they still throw all their energy into solving these worries.
The manga already inspired a television anime that ended last September. Crunchyroll streamed the anime into several countries as it aired in Japan. The manga also bundled an anime DVD this past February.
