Hiro Fujiwara's Maid Sama! Shōjo Manga to End in 3 Chapters

The August issue of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine is announcing on Monday that Hiro Fujiwara is ending her Maid Sama! (Kaichō wa Maid-sama!) shōjo manga in three more chapters. If the manga continues without a break until its end, it will conclude in the November issue on September 24.
Fujiwara launched the manga in 2006, and Hakusensha published the 16th compiled book volume in Japan in February. The manga already entered its final arc in in April. The series centers on a high school student council president who secretly works at a maid café.
Tokyopop published eight volumes of the manga before the company shut down its North American publishing division in 2011.
Fujiwara's manga inspired a 26-episiode television anime series from J.C. Staff in 2010, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD in North America.
