posted on by Sarah Nelkin
A manga adaptation of the Durarara!! 3way standoff -alley- video game (which is itself inspired by Ryohgo Narita and Suzuhito Yasuda's Durarara!! light novels and anime) will begin serializing in the September issue of ASCII Media Works' Monthly Sylph magazine on July 22. The adaptation of the 2010 PSP game will be drawn by manga creator Izuco Fujiya (Kataribe no List), and it will focus on the game's original character, Yoshimune Miyoshi (nicknamed "Yoshiyoshi").
Akiyo Satorigi drew the first Durarara!! manga in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine from 2009 to 2011, and that version was compiled into four volumes. Satorigi also ran the Durarara!! Saika Arc manga in G Fantasy from 2011 until this year, and Square Enix published the third volume in March. Yen Press published the first Durarara!! manga in North America, and it just published the second volume of Saika Arc in May.
