Xbox One Will Not Launch in Japan in November

Microsoft announced the 21 regions that will launch the Xbox One console in November during its Xbox E3 Media Briefing at E3, but Japan is not one of them. Launch countries include United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Spain, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, Belgium, Finland, Austria, and Denmark.
Microsoft confirmed that Japan will get the Xbox One, but did not offer a release date. A new version of the current Xbox 360 console was also unveiled on Tuesday in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, and Australia, with other countries slated for the next few months. A release date for Japan also has yet to be revealed.
The Xbox One will retail for US$499.
