Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Manga to End on Tuesday

Animation studio Gainax reported on Friday that the manga adaptation of its Aim for the Top! Gunbuster science-fiction anime will end in the July issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine on Tuesday.
The science-fiction anime revolves around Noriko Takaya, a girl who wants to become a space pilot just like her father. She enters Okinawa Girls Space Pilot High School to pursue her dream and his handpicked by her instructor due to her great potential.
The manga launched in 2010 with art by Kabocha, and Kadokawa Shoten will publish the fifth compiled book volume on August 3. US Renditions released Gainax's 1988 video anime series on video tape as one of the first English-subtitled anime releases in the United States in 1990. Bandai Visual USA then released the anime on DVD in 2007.
