Steins;Gate Film Box Office Totals 500 Million Yen

MAGES president Chiyomaru Shikura reported via Twitter that the Steins;Gate Fuka Ryōiki no Déjà vu anime film has earned 500 million yen (about US$5 million) at the box office, according to Kadokawa. Shikura accepted a single yen (about US$.01) as a royalty fee for the film.
The Steins;Gate Fuka Ryōiki no Déjà vu film opened in theaters in Japan last month. The film reunites the television series' cast and staff with a completely new story set after the "true end" of the television series.
