California's FanimeCon to Host ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D Rock Band

Group performed Blue Exorcist, Bleach, Durarara!! themes

The organizers of FanimeCon have announced that the four-member Japanese alternative rock band ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D will perform at the May 24-27 convention in San Jose, California. The band's appearance at FanimeCon will mark their first performance outside of Japan.

ROOKiEZ is PUNK'Ds debut single "Complication" was used as the second opening theme song for the Durarara!! anime series. The band has also performed the second opening theme song "In My World" for Blue Exorcist and the ending theme song "Song for..." for Bleach.

Fanime will also host mecha designer Tsuyoshi Nonaka, four-member Japanese pop band 7!! (pronounced seven-oops), director Takahiro Ōmori, producer Yumi Satō, voice actor Chris Patton, and author Gilles Poitras.
