Niconico Chōkaigi 2 Draws 103,500 in Person, 5.1 Million Online

Nico Nico Chōkaigi 2, the convention held by the video service Nico Nico at the Makuhari Messe complex in Chiba, attracted 103,500 attendees during the April 27-28 weekend. (A person who attends both days is counted twice.) 5.1 million people also watched the official live streams of the event on the Nico Nico service.
The event drew about 10,000 more attendees than last year's event and about 1.63 million more online viewers.
Next year's event will be held at Makuhari Messe on April 26-27.
