Retailer Lists July BD/DVD for Jackie Chan's City Hunter

Amazon is now listing Shout! Factory's release of Jackie Chan's 1992 live-action film adaptation of City Hunter on Blu-ray and DVD on July 16. The film will be part of a double feature with Jackie Chan's 1980 film Battle Creek Brawl. Amazon's listings note that the films will include both English and Chinese audio tracks. The Blu-ray Disc is listed for a price of US$19.97, and the DVD is listed at US$12.99. Shout! Factory has not replied yet to ANN's request for confirmation of the listings as of press time.
Jackie Chan plays the role of Ryō in the film very loosely inspired by the Tsukasa Hōjō's City Hunter detective comedy action manga series. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment previously distributed the film on DVD in North America.
The original City Hunter manga has also been adapted into four television anime series, one anime movie, and several video and television specials. ADV Films released most of these anime projects in North America. Hojo has since drawn an Angel Heart spinoff to his City Hunter manga, and that manga has also been adapted into anime for television.
