The fourth issue of Kill Time Communication's Comic Valkyrie online magazine launched a supplementary manga to Dall-Young Lim and Kwang-Hyun Kim's Freezing manga on Wednesday.
The Freezing Pair Love Stories manga (pictured at right) tells the story of how the various Pandoras and Limiters met. The first chapter focuses on the characters Ganessa Roland and Arthur Crypton. So-Hee Kim is drawing the spinoff manga instead of Kwang-Hyun Kim.
Comic Valkyrie ended its print run last September, but was "reborn" as a free online magazine
The 18th volume of the original manga announced on Wednesday that a second anime season had been green-lit. The first promotional video for the sequel series will premiere at the Anime Contents Expo event this weekend. The second season, which will be titled Freezing Vibration, will cover the E-Pandora arc from the manga.
The original manga and anime centers on Kazuya, a boy who lost his sister in humankind's fight against beings from another dimension. He enrolls in a military academy for combat training against the dimensional beings. There, a group of girls known as "Pandora" prepare to fight the unknown enemy.
Funimation streamed the 12-episode series as it aired in 2011, and the company then released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc last year.
