Viz's Shonen Jump Adds New 1-Shot from Psyren's Iwashiro

Tentatively-titled "Sakuran" short to be published in Japanese, English simultaneously
North American publisher Viz Media announced in Monday's issue of its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that it will publish the tentatively-titled "Sakuran" one-shot by manga creator Toshiaki Iwashiro (Psyren) in next week's issue on April 1. Viz Media describes the one-shot as centering on a boy who has an alien living inside his head. Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will also publish the one-shot in Japan in this year's 18th issue on April 1.
Viz Media is releasing Psyren in North America, and the company published the series' ninth volume earlier this month. Shueisha published the 16th and final volume in the series in March 2011.
