Katanagatari Rerun's Teaser Previews New Supercell, Piko Theme Songs

Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block began streaming a third teaser video on Thursday for the upcoming rerun of the Katanagatari television anime series. The video previews supercell's new opening theme song "Hakushukassai Utaawase," and Piko's new ending theme song "Kotonoha." supercell has previously performed theme songs for Bakemonogatari, Guilty Crown, Black Rock Shooter, and Magi, among others. Piko has performed theme songs for Binbogami ga! and Tegami Bachi: Reverse.
Katanagatari originally aired on Fuji TV (but not in the Noitamina block), BS Fuji, and MBS television channels in 2010. Each Katanagari episode is approximately 50 minutes and will fill the entirety of the block for 12 weeks. The rerun will begin airing on April 11.
The series was licensed in North America by NIS America and the company released in two Blu-ray/DVD combo sets in 2011.
