A Certain Magical Index Film Adds 45 More Theaters

The official website for the Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion) anime film announced that the film will expand its run with 45 more theaters on April 6. The announcement was also made at the Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2013 & Dengeki Bunko: Haru no Saiten 2013 event.
Last Wednesday, the official website confirmed that the film topped 300 million yen (about US$3 million) in the box office. To celebrate the milestone, the film's staff began offering character cards with the main characters in theaters as of last weekend. The film also set records for first-week attendance and box office receipts at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku, a theater in Tokyo, last month.
