MVM to Release Is This a Zombie?

MVM has announced that it will release the television anime Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is This a Zombie?), plus its sequel Is This a Zombie? 2 (aka Is This a Zombie? of the Dead) later in 2013. The first series collection will consist of 12 episodes and one OAV; the second set will have 10 episodes and 2 OAVs. The release dates were not given at this time.
The series adapts Shinichi Kimura's light novel series of the same name, which was illustrated by Kobuichi and Muririn. The story follows a normal high school boy named Ayumu Aikawa as he is killed and resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer named Eucliwood ("Eu"). Ayumu then accidentally deprives the magical girl Haruna of her powers, so she demands that Ayumu take her place in fighting her enemy Megalo.
