Iron Chef TV Remake to End in March

The Japanese television station Fuji TV announced on Friday that its remake of the Iron Chef television program starring Hiroshi Tamaki will end this month. Fuji TV began airing the cooking competition show in October to boost ratings, but stated on Friday that the show struggled to find an audience.
Programming director Akihiro Arai said that there may be Iron Chef specials in the future, including the "Jinsei no Seikai TV ~Kore ga Teppan!~" program in April. The original Iron Chef aired on Fuji TV from 1993 to 1999.
