Fumito Ueda: Last Guardian Still 'Under My Creative Supervision'
posted on by Karen Ressler
Video game director Fumito Ueda posted a letter on his website on Tuesday to confirm that he still has creative supervision over the development of Sony Computer Entertainment's upcoming PlayStation 3 game The Last Guardian. Ueda stated that he left Sony Computer Entertainment in 2011 to pursue his own creative passions, but will continue to be involved in the game as a freelance contributor.
Ueda also noted that no further details about the game's release have been announced yet, and he will not be involved in Sony's decisions regarding the release. He added, "Please keep an eye out for their official announcement." In addition to his continued work on The Last Guardian, Ueda plans to pursue his own creative projects.
