Niconico Streams 2-Millionth Video

The streaming service Niconico hosted its two-millionth video, a five-second clip called "Air-Hon wa Saikō." Users submitted their congratulations and celebratory comments to the video.
Niconico has been numbering all of its video sequentially since the beginning, so the two-millionth video's URL ended in "sm20000000." However, according to management and contributors to the site, the actual number of currently playable videos on the Niconico website may be fewer due to deleted videos.
It has been about 5 years and 11 months since the first incarnation of the service, then known as Smilevideo, launched in March of 2007. The company held its first Niconico Super Kaigi convention last April.
