Capcom Lowers Resident Evil 6 Sales Forecast to 5 Million

Game developer CAPCOM lowered its sales forecast for Resident Evil 6 from 6 million to 5 million units shipped by March 31. It had already lowered its initial forecast of 7 million in October.
CAPCOM shipped Resident Evil 6 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America and Europe on November 20 and in Japan on November 22. The PC port goes on sale in North America and Europe on March 22.
CAPCOM also stated that 1.3 million copies Dragon's Dogma have shipped since its release in May. An expansion for the game, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will ship on April 23 in North America, April 25 in Japan, and April 26 in Europe.
