io9 Site: "Mothra Rewrite" Comment Was a Joke

The website io9 updated its article to say that the Mothra rewrite "was a joke." Actor Sam Witwer (Being Human, The Mist) stated in a roundtable discussion with science fiction news website io9 that he is "working on a Mothra rewrite right now." The comment was apparently a good-natured joke aimed at writer Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, The Mist, The Green Mile), who is currently rewriting Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers' remake of Godzilla.
