Director: Vividred Operation #1 Gets 3.7% Rating

Director Kazuhiro Takamura wrote on his blog on Friday that the first episode of Vivired Operation earned a 3.7% rating on the TBS station. He mused that this might be the highest rating thus far on Animeism, the name for the station's late-night anime programing block since last year. He commented that this was phenomenal, given that the episode aired on Friday, January 11 at 25:55 (effectively 1:55 a.m. on Saturday, January 12).

By comparison, Sazae-san, the #1 ranked television animation show, garnered a 16.6% rating a day later at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13.
