Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi Slated for February 19

Aksys Games announced that it will release Idea Factory's Hakuōki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi PSP game on February 19 for US$29.99. Those who pre-order the game through Amazon will receive a Hakuōki headband. Packaging includes a 16-page full-color character guide featuring art from the game.
Players control one of six main characters from the original Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom PlayStation Portable game in an alternate storyline. The players can play out the events from the original game or change the story.
The game franchise from Idea Factory has spawned numerous anime adaptations. The Hakuōki anime franchise includes the 12-episode Hakuōki series, the 10-episode sequel series Hakuōki Hekketsu-roku, the 12-episode Hakuōki Reimeiroku prequel series, and the 6-episode Hakuōki Sekkaroku video anime series. The franchise also includes two upcoming films that will premiere this year.
