Anime Mirai 2013 Slated for March 2
posted on by Egan Loo
The anime portal site AniFav reported on Friday that the Anime Mirai 2013 project will open in 14 theaters throughout Japan on March 2. Tickets will go sale on February 1 with a limited-edition booklet of art and other material from each of the project's shorts.
Under the Anime Mirai program, the Japan Animation Creators Association (JAniCA) receives money from the Japanese government's Agency for Cultural Affairs, and it distributes most of those funds to studios who will train young animators on-the-job. ZEXCS, Gonzo, Madhouse, and Studio Trigger are contributing the four Anime Mirai projects to be released next year.
