NIS America has scheduled its release of Compile Heart's Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory (Kami Jigen Game Neptune V) in North America on March 12, 2013 and in Europe on March 15. The company also released screenshots of its English localization and a trailer for the game. The limited edition will include a full-color, hardcover art book; two exclusive Time Capsule Tins, the Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory original soundtrack, and the PlayStation 3 game itself.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is a role-playing game followup to Compile Heart's Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. The main character, Neptune, returns from the previous titles but is transported back in time to the 1980s version of Gameindustri.
NIS America describes the story as:
Several years after preventing Arfoire's revival, Gamindustri has remained at peace. The CPUs and their younger sisters have been enjoying their quiet lives for a while... Then one day, the CPU of Planeptune—Neptune—is sent to another dimension. This new dimension feels very much like her own...except it has only progressed to the Gamindustri of the 1980s. In this dimension, a group of villains calling themselves the “Seven Sages” are trying to create a world free from the rule of CPUs. With help from her new friends, including that dimension's CPU of Planeptune—Plutia—Neptune begins her quest to protect a totally different Gamindustri in her brand-new adventure!
The game shipped for the PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 30. An anime adaptation of the Hyperdimension Neptunia games was also green-lit.
