Film with "new construction" of TV series & new ending to open on February 9
The official website for Star Driver the Movie began streaming the full trailer on Saturday. The trailer features the theme song "colorful" by 9nine, the same female idol group who performed songs for the original Star Driver television series. The website also presented a new piece of key visual art.
The film will open in Japan on February 9. It will feature a "new construction" of the Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto story that revolves around the fates of Takuto, Wako, and Sugata. It will also have an all-new segment about these characters' lives after the story of the television series.
