Viz, Simon & Schuster Renew Sales/Distribution Agreement

North American manga publisher Viz Media announced on Monday that it renewed its sales and distribution agreement with global publisher Simon & Schuster. The two companies began working together in 2004 when Simon & Schuster signed on to handle Viz's fulfillment and invoicing. This expanded in 2006 when Simon & Schuster took on Viz's sales and sales management responsibilities. Simon & Schuster now handles retail and wholesale distribution services, including warehousing, fulfillment, customer service, and accounts receivable collection for Viz's library of titles.
