Gakuen Prince's Jun Yuzuki to End Rose & Wolf Manga
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
This year's November issue of Kodansha's shōjo manga magazine Bessatsu Friend announced on Saturday that Gakuen Prince manga creator Jun Yuzuki will end her Bara to Ōkami (Rose & Wolf) manga series in the magazine's December issue on November 13.
The romantic comedy follows a high school girl and a male student with a hidden secret in Sumeragi Academy, one of Japan's most elite boarding schools. Futaba Yoshino is a freshman girl taking regular courses at the academy, but she daydreams about Kōga Kiriya, an aloof second-year student with translucent dusk-colored eyes on the advanced track of special studies. Although they live in different worlds, something unexpected suddenly brings them together.
Yuzuki launched the series in the magazine's 2011 November issue. Kodansha published the second compiled volume of the series on August 10.
Random House's Del Rey Manga imprint published three of Gakuen Prince's 12 volumes in North America in 2009. JManga announced this weekend that will add the series to its website and it will publish beyond what Del Rey Manga previously published.
