Seitokai no Ichizon Spinoff Novel to Bundle Anime Blu-ray

Seitokai no Shukujitsu (Student Council's Holiday), Sekina Aoi's eighth Hekiyoh Gakuen Seitokai Mokushiroku spinoff novel from his Student Council's Discretion (Seitokai no Ichizon - Hekiyoh Gakuen Seitokai Gijiroku) light novel series, will come in a limited edition with an original anime Blu-ray Disc on July 5, 2013. According to the advertising flyer for the upcoming book, this is the first limited edition in the Seitokai series that has an original anime bundled.
The Blu-ray Disc will contain one brand-new episode, and the Gamers! chain of stores is also planning an exclusive bonus extra. The limited edition will cost 4,200 yen (about US$54).
The light novel series revolves around Ken Sugisaki, a high school boy who becomes part of the student council of his private Hekiyoh Academy. He is the only boy on the council, where he is surrounded by cute girls.
The second weekly Seitokai no Ichizon anime series will premiere on the streaming website niconico (formerly Nico Nico Douga) on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. in Japan (10:30 a.m. EDT). The media-distribution website Crunchyroll streamed the first anime series outside Japan in 2010.
