Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos Anime Gets 2nd Season
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos anime franchise announced at noon on Friday that production on a second season has been green-lit. The website's countdown timer is linked to the system clock on the local user's computer, so the countdown will not end outside Japan without changing the system clock's time. The announcement videos from the voice cast are also blocked from playing outside Japan.
This year's adaptation of Manta Aisora's comedy light novel series premiered in April and ran for a 12-episode season until June. Crunchyroll streams the first anime season outside of Asia. The cast members from the previous Haiyoru! Nyaru-Ani net anime series and Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft television anime series all reprised their roles in this year's version.
The official Twitter account for the 2012 anime posted in July that a "higher-up," at a party celebrating the end of the April-June run, mentioned that the series is at a "turning point." The wraparound jacket band on the Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos Visual Fan Book listed the contents of the book, including "a look back at the TV series' 1st season."
Update: More information added.
