posted on by Egan Loo
Police in Kobe's Nagata Ward arrested a 44-year-old man on Tuesday on suspicion of repeatedly posting "obscene manga" that he drew around his neighborhood. He is charged with trespassing on residential property and violating the Minor Offenses Act. The man reportedly said under deposition that he wanted people around him to know about his manga talent.
According to the charges, he put his manga on parked cars, include those in a parking lot that charges a monthly fee, in June. He reportedly admitted to all five counts with which he is charged.
Authorities say that they found several dozen "obscene" manga that he drew in his apartment.
