1st 2 Madoka Magica Films' English-Subtitled Trailer Streamed

Aniplex of America began streaming an English-subtitled trailer for the first two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films on Thursday. The trailer is the same as the trailer posted in July on the films' official website. The trailer features the song "Connect" by ClariS, the song used as the opening theme song from the original television anime series.
Aniplex of America and Eleven Arts will screen the films as a double feature in five cities in the United States in October, one week after the second film opens in Japan. The film will also be screened in seven other countries and territories between October and December.
Producer Atsuhiro Iwakami had revealed last November that the film trilogy will begin with a two-part compilation of the original television series, followed by an all-new film. Gekikjō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica Zenpen: Hajimari no Monogatari will open on October 6 at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 and other theaters nationwide. Gekikjō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica Kōhen: Eien no Monogatari (Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part II: The Eternal Story) will follow on October 13.
