posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The Japanese publisher Shueisha announced via its official S-Manga.net Twitter account on Tuesday that Takara Tomy's Beast Saga franchise will receive a television anime adaptation. Shueisha had released the second volume of the Manabu Honjō's Beast Saga manga (pictured at right) on Tuesday.
Additional information about the anime adaptation will be announced in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump manga anthology magazine, which serializes Honjō's manga.
Takara Tomy's official website for the franchise is streaming an English-narrated animated trailer for the franchise.
Beast Saga takes place on a distant planet in our galaxy called Beast where three beast tribes, the Sea Tribe, the Land Tribe, and the Sky Tribe, fight for their honor. Each of the tribes protect an infinite elemental power source called "Godlot."
Aside from Honjō's manga, the franchise also includes hobby toys and a dice battle game.
