Switch's naked ape Ends Dolls Manga this Month
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Otoh Saki, one half of the manga writer/artist duo naked ape (along with Tomomi Nakamura), revealed via her Twitter account last Tuesday that the duo's Dolls manga will end in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine's November issue, which will go on sale on September 28.
The action series premiered in 2005 and follows the Tokkei, an organization consisting of 47 brigades who are charged with tracking down and executing convicts who were condemned to death for their crimes even though they have not yet been arrested. This system was enacted in an effort to curb the overcrowding of prisons. Ichijinsha will release the 12th collected volume on November 24.
Viz Media published naked ape's 13-volume Switch manga between 2008-2010. The manga was adapted into a two-episode video anime series in 2008 and 2009.
Otoh Saki's other series with Ai Tenkawa (Wolf God), Kisshō7 -seven-, is still running in Monthly Comic Zero-Sum.
