The most recent issue of ASCII Media Works's Dengeki Daioh features the final chapter of the manga adaptation of Masashi Okita's Ōkami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi light novel series. The manga, also written by Okita, is illustrated by Kurumi Suzushiro. The series began in the April 2010 issue of the magazine and has been collected into three standalone volumes so far.
The romantic comedy series was adapted into the Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions anime in 2010 by J.C. Staff, Media Factory and director Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Love Hina, The Familiar of Zero), and tells the story about three high schoolers — Ryōko Ōkami ("Ōkami-san" or "Wolf"), Ringo Akai ("Akazuki-chan" or "Red Riding Hood"), and Ryōshi Morino (his name is a wordplay on "forest hunter"). The three are part of the Otogi High School Bank, a club that solves the high school's problems. The series was released in North America by Funimation earlier this year.
