260,000 K-ON! Film DVDs/Blu-rays Shipped to Retailers

The website of the media trade paper Bunka Tsūshin reported on Friday that the total number of shipped Blu-ray and DVD editions of the K-ON! film are estimated at 260,000 units.
The number of units shipped does not necessarily indicate the number of units sold. However, at least 99,382 copies of the limited and regular edition blu-rays have sold as of July 22, as well as 28,029 limited first edition DVDs and 12,895 regular-edition DVDs.
The K-ON! film opened last December and earned over 1.9 billion yen (about US$23.7 million) at the box office.
