Persona 4 Arena Fighting Game Gets Manga Series
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Atlus' official Persona Kouhou Blog announced on Tuesday that the Persona 4 Arena fighting video game will receive a manga adaptation illustrated by AIYAH-BALL (Live On Cardliver Kakeru, Code Age). The manga will premiere in the tenth issue of the monthly Persona Magazine on August 7. The website noted that the series will differ somewhat from the game, and the story will focus on characters' emotions.
Atlus will release the game in Japan on July 26 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and Atlus USA will release the game in North America on August 7. Titled Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena in Japan, the game is a 2D-animated fighting game using characters from the Persona 3 and Persona 4 role-playing games. The game was originally released in Japanese arcades this past winter.
