Tail of the Moon's Ueda to Launch Sakura Jūyūshi Manga

This year's 17th issue of Shueisha's Margaret manga anthology will begin serialization on Rinko Ueda's (Tail of the Moon, Stepping on Roses) Sakura Jūyūshi romance manga on August 4.
The manga revolves around the Sakura household, which has since ancient times worked as sake brewers. One day the daughter of the household finds a katana in her family's warehouse and when she unsheathes it, the sword starts to shine. The title Sakura Jūyūshi is a play on words of Sanada Jūyūshi, a story of the group of 10 ninja who assisted the warlord Sanada Yukimura during the Warring States era of Japan.
Ueda recently finished her Stepping on Roses (Hadashi de Bara o Fume) manga in February. Ueda also recently ran a two-part manga titled Hoikumen! in Shueisha's You manga anthology in April-May.
Viz Media began publishing Stepping on Roses in North America in 2010 after releasing her Tail of the Moon manga. Viz Media shipped the seventh volume of Stepping on Roses in March.
